O-TC Ltd, a company born out of years of experience in automation

Introduction to O-TC LTD
After 46 years as a Electrical and Mechanical Engineer starting out in theTin Box industry, then working through various engineering roles as a Commissioning Engineer working through out the world, R&D Engineer for the Dutch then taking over as Production Manager for one of there plastic companies, then working in the injection moulding industry as a field service engineer and later as Technical Manager I developed a true passion for automation and specialising within that industry as an electrical development engineer I moved into the design and development side Learning Eplan then joining the Eplan team as a Consultant then decided I could better help as a consultant by starting Omond-Tong Consultancy in 2012 to work with what was a base of customers that I had worked with or for over the years of my career.
The company immediately grew firstly by working in co-operation with others like myself to provide more turnkey solutions to companies that had the need to have the skills to develop without the cost of employing many people.
After growing the O-TC that way I employed people who had specific talents to make our service more attractive to customers with the firm base of electrical design as its main speciality.
Recently because of supply issues in the automation industry Omond-Tong Consultancy Ltd now O-TC Ltd, we have worked with some of our already established Chinese & Taiwanese colleagues in IOT to develop products that would help the supply problems and provide very cost effective solutions to expensive automation problems.
O-TC Ltd most valuable asset is how it is known to its customers.
Working with industrial automation experts
O-TC works with many different suppliers but not just to provide parts or solutions but to understand how a supplier can really help with a projects aim to give ultimate control what ever level the project is. We talk to suppliers not just because we have been told to be to make sure what everyone is supplying meets to needs right there and now but also as much as possible for the future.
Installing known technology can be a good solution to a control problem but if its old it may become obsolete very quickly and therefore difficult in a very short time to replace parts and maintain the process as it should be.
We can do this because we take the time to understand what's out in the market not just new to the scene but what it can offer to a customer, in the form of better automation information, greater and tighter control and future proofing there process for many years.
