O-TC as a company predominantly is responsible for electrical design, we also build, test and commission control systems for a variety of industries as a matter of course, because the control solutions are run of the mill, with little complication with simple or straight forward programming. O-TC works closely with Suppliers, consultants and independent automation experts, to ensure that in the design stages, of any small or large control projects, every avenue possible is looked into to ensure we use the data we produce to give not only the most reliable solution but the solution that gives as much information as possible to the PLC or DCS to ensure all aspects of the process are monitored and controlled, so that such aspects as short and long term maintenance can use the date to provide warning’s, for shutdown work, also Urgency and Emergency shutdowns don’t do long term damage to the process equipment as can happen with harsh shutdown implications.

Smother start-ups bring machinery to a running speed that’s well within design tolerances and feed back of data is used appropriately. Design redundancy into control systems to ensure future expansion of the control philosophy is possible with out massive modifications and even test points to help engineers collect other data ensuring they have clear understanding of the process.

Another aspect of working with experts, is to ensure we use the most up to date protocols to communicate with external I/O devices and save on wiring with communications like Hart, IO Link, also Wi-fi to communicate with other processes or far reaching equipment that needs to be controlled within the same process field or controller. This helps with savings in cost of application as well as reduce to commission and implement into production.
